So all the graffiti photos I just uploaded were taken in downtown Austin, Texas at a place called the Hope Outdoor Gallery. I found it randomly while searching for a location in Austin, and a marker popped up on the google map I was browsing. Looked it up before heading out, and thought it might be somewhere cool to check out. I've always been in awe of the higher level graffiti artists with the style and complexity of some of the pieces I've seen, and have been wanting to take a tour of the city with my camera just for the sole purpose of capturing some of those hidden works for everyone to see. Haven't updated the dA page in a while, mostly because I haven't been taking many new photos. Also because I'm busy with work and lazy about/hate doing post work. I try to do as much SOOC as I can, but just about everything needs post now that everyone has a camera in their pocket all the time. That, to me, is a double-edged sword. Everyone is taking pictures, which is great, but most of those pics are snapshots, not thought-out and composed photographs. Don't get me wrong, there are some people who are good with a smartphone camera, but posting 20 drunken shots from last weekend does not make you a photographer. Instagram is lying to you. I

So - I've been lurking on the site for about a year (longer, actually, but I registered a year ago), and a friend of mine - ShortFuseArt - recently suggested I upload some of my photography to the site and really build a profile.  I started adding some work today, and have a huge backlog of shots to go through, so I'll be adding more in time. I'm also hoping to get my photo editing software back up and running so I can clean up and correct exposures on a couple month's worth of photos. Thanks to all the favorites that have been added so far.  I hope you all find more of my work to your liking. -STP

Thanks for the Huffer fav Shawn! :D
You're quite welcome. Huffer was the first Transformer I owned as a kid in 1984, and I still have a special affection for him.
